Through the course of human history, it has been essential to preserve commodities that are capable of spoiling. In this workshop, we will gain an understanding of dairy a we briefly discuss its separation and distribution. The highlight of this course will be making your own butter from cream and compounding it. Compounding is the process of adding herbs, spices, and fruits to yield a flavored butter. This workshop requires mild physical exercise of the upper body. Please sign up in advance at Ops. Dairy tentatively supplied by Calder Bros. Dairy.
