Come join the mad scientists of All Hands Active for some embedded programming fun. Using the Arduino programming environment, we will take the ESP8266-powered, wifi-enabled "mktwo" badge and hack on its code! These sessions will consist of a brief overview of the mktwo and its features, an intro to the libraries and methods used to program it, and then a whole lot of "sandbox" time for you to hack away on your badge using our demo programs as reference, and the creators of the mktwo as your mentors. Scroll your twitter feed in full RGB-LED matrix glory! Host a webpage on your person! Send silly messages to your friends with the press of a button! You are the master of your internet-enabled, badge-shaped destiny! Arduino programming experience is helpful, but not required. Not one of the lucky few to snag our surprise-limited-run mktwo badge last year? Fear not: we will have more ready to go this time around.
